projects and initiatives

At RESONUT, our commitment to combating malnutrition and promoting nutritional health in Burkina Faso is demonstrated through a series of targeted projects and initiatives. Each of these efforts aims to address specific nutrition-related challenges in diverse communities, adopting a multi-sectoral and inclusive approach.

National Community Nutrition Program

This flagship project aims to improve access to adequate nutrition for the most vulnerable populations, in particular children under five and pregnant or breastfeeding women. In collaboration with local authorities and other NGOs, we deploy teams on the ground to provide nutritional supplements, organize campaigns to raise awareness of a balanced diet, and build local capacity to manage acute malnutrition.

Right2grow or the right to grow

Right2grow is an advocacy program that aims to support local CSOs in structuring themselves and strengthening their capacities, as well as those of communities, in advocacy, monitoring the quality of nutrition/Wash services, and budget monitoring for continuous improvement of the nutritional situation in Burkina Faso in general, and in its areas of intervention in particular: the East, Centre-North and North regions, as well as at national level.

The 5-year project (2021 – 2025) is funded by the Kingdom of the Netherlands.

Right2grow is a vast global program implemented in 6 countries (Burkina Faso, Mali, Bangladesh, Uganda, Ethiopia, South Sudan). In the case of Burkina Faso, the consortium is made up of Save the Children International as lead partner, Action contre la Faim and The Hunger Project Burkina.
